Not one roof, but a whole city

Altınfest is a shopping week that brings Konya's goldsmiths and jewellers together in one festival spirit from 19 to 25 October. It is not a trade fair held in a single venue. The festival takes place in the participating shops themselves.

In the Goldsmiths Bazaar, in the city centre and in the shopping malls, every shop showing the Altınfest sign is part of the festival.

There is no common discount rate at Altınfest. Each shop offers its own campaign and deals.

By shopping mall

Some jewellers have shops in more than one mall. They are counted separately in each mall, so the numbers above add up to more than the number of jewellers on the Shopping malls card.

President's message

From the value of gold to the strength of togetherness

Dear fellow citizens, esteemed colleagues,

The years I have spent in the jewellery trade, which I entered in 1980, have taught me one truth: gold is precious and jewels are valuable, but earning a person's trust is more precious than all of them.

With its deep-rooted trading tradition and its Ahi guild culture, Konya is a city of trust, hard work and solidarity. ALTINFEST, the Konya Gold and Jewellery Days, which we have brought to life under the leadership of the Konya Goldsmiths and Jewellers Association, was born to keep these values alive and carry them into the future.

We do not see ALTINFEST merely as an event of shopping and discounts. Our aim is to strengthen unity among our tradespeople, to reinforce consumer confidence, to bring vitality to the commercial life of our city, and to make Konya jewellery a brand recognised nationally and internationally.

We hope that this event, in which every business makes its own commercial decisions freely and which is founded on fair competition and transparency, will grow over the years and become a tradition.

For us, success is not only a matter of sales figures. When the festival is over, we want it to leave behind stronger friendships, greater trust, a shared excitement and a lasting value to hand on to future generations.

Because we want to build not a one-week festival, but a culture of togetherness that will live on for years.

I thank everyone who has contributed their effort and support to this journey, and I invite all our fellow citizens to ALTINFEST.

May the sparkle of gold light up our eyes, and the light of trust light up our future.

With respect and affection, Tahir Azman President, Konya Goldsmiths and Jewellers Association
